I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with people who want to improve their significant relationships, familial relationships, and friendships, as well as process and manage anxiety, depression, academic/work stress, health-related stress, and life transitions.

I am honored to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward their own goals. I work with clients through a systems and multicultural-informed lens, meaning I consider the context you are in when we work on and talk about the challenges that have brought you to therapy. I approach therapy from a strength-based perspective.

I have a warm, nonjudgmental style and often incorporate tools from Gottman Couples Therapy, Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy, Expressive Art Techniques, Sand Play Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) into our work.

I currently teach Introduction to Marriage, Couple, and Family. Counseling and Therapy, Multicultural Counseling, and Internship & Practicum classes at The College of New Jersey in their Graduate Level Counseling Program.

I speak English and Portuguese.
